Real Lens Discipline (Focal Length Rule)

#Camera#Composition

Make scenes feel “shot,” not “random 3D.”

The Workflow

  1. For characters/portraits: 50–85mm.
  2. For environments: 24–35mm.
  3. Avoid ultra-wide unless intentional (distortion).
  4. Move the camera back and zoom in for flattering perspective.

The Usage

Focal length controls perspective. This instantly makes renders look more cinematic and believable.
