Don’t redraw the arm. Bend it.
The Workflow
- Select your character layer (ensure it’s cutout).
- Go to Edit > Puppet Warp.
- A mesh will appear over your character.
The Technique
Click to place “Pins” on the joints:
- Shoulder (Anchor)
- Elbow (Pivot)
- Wrist (Mover)
Drag the Wrist Pin to move the arm. The mesh deforms organically. Hold Alt and hover over a pin to rotate it. Perfect for fixing stiffness in a drawing without starting over.
